Sea bass with orange sauce

It's #FridayRecipes and it's time for a seasonal recipe! ๐’๐„๐€ ๐๐€๐’๐’ ๐–๐ˆ๐“๐‡ ๐Ž๐‘๐€๐๐†๐„ ๐’๐€๐”๐‚๐„. A light recipe, simple to make and spectacular flavor. Save it, because it will be one of your favorite sauces to give a delicious citrus touch to your fish or seafood dishes.ย Do you fancy trying it this weekend?



  • 2 loins of sea bass (500 g)
  • 250 ml of orange juice
  • 1 onion (175 g)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Ground black pepper
  • Curry powder (optional)
  • 6 prawns
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Step by step :

Pour 50 ml of olive oil in a pan and add the previously chopped onion. When it is tender, add the orange juice, some ground black pepper, the bay leaves, the curry, and let it cook for about 15 minutes until the sauce has been reduced by 50% approx. Stripe
Remove the bay leaves from the sauce and use a whisk to stir all the ingredients together into a homogenous mixture. Add one or two tablespoons of honey, depending on whether we want the sauce to be sweet or sour. Stripe
Cook the sea bass in the pan for about 3 minutes on both sides, add the prawns and after 2 minutes turn off the heat and cover it with the orange sauce to taste. Stripe
Serve and enjoy. Stripe
