Orange and chocolate doughnuts

Who doesn't fancy a doughnut? And if it's healthy and with chocolate and Bollo Fruits oranges... It's a total explosion. It is a very simple recipe to make. You will love it. Ideal for snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 100 g rolled oats (gluten-free if you are a coeliac)
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 orange
  • The juice of 1 orange
  • 50 ml olive or coconut oil
  • 2 large tbsp nut butter
  • 1 large tbsp yeast or baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • Sweetener to taste (1 tbsp liquid saccharin)
  • High quality sugar-free chocolate

Step by step :

Peel and blend the orange. Stripe

Add the remaining wet ingredients: the juice, egg, oil and nut butter. Blend again. Stripe

Add the dry ingredients to a bowl. Mix together and then add the mixture of wet ingredients. Stripe

Pour into doughnut or muffin moulds and bake for 12-16 minutes at 190ºC. Stripe

Remove from the oven, let cool and then cover with the high-quality chocolate that has been melted in a bain-marie or in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stripe

Decoration: Blend ½ an orange (including the peel), place in a saucepan and add the cocoa and liquid saccharin. Blend the liquid again until it is a smooth cream. Put in a pastry bag with a very thin nozzle, and after covering the doughnuts with chocolate, decorate with lines of chocolate. Stripe
